Lana Del Rey kimdir?
Asıl adı Elizabeth Woolridge Lizzy Grant (21 Haziran 1986 Amerikalı şarkıcı ve söz yazarı. Sahne adı olarak Küba’da kaldığı dönemde arkadaşları ile birlikte DEL REY sahilinde otururken kendi adını Lana Del Rey diye değiştirir. Bir röportajında bu ismin güzel bir melodisinin olduğunu, bu yüzden sahne adı olarak seçtiğini belirtmiştir. İsmi İspanyolcada “Kralın Yünü” anlamına gelir.
2011 yılının 2.yarısında ilk olarak “Video Games” isimli single ı yayınlamıştır. Ardından “Blue Jeans” adlı parçası onu takip etmiştir. 2012 yılının ilk çeyreğinde ”Born To Die” isimli albümü yayınlanmıştır. Asıl sanatçılığı 2005 yılından bu yana devam etse de 2011 yıllarında ün kazanmıştır.
