GB Whatsapp, short for Getting Background Information on WhatsApp and Google Social, is one of the newest apps in the market. It is a new service provided by Google, which helps you get information about the people, places, and things that appear on the Google social media platform. Many of us are already using this application to access our friend's information. However, many people do not know how to use it, and they are not aware of the different features it offers.
How to Install GB Whatsapp on Android devices?
Installing this application is easy. First of all, you have to download the GB Whatsapp application from the Google Android marketplace. After downloading and installing it on your system, you should then allow "read-only" access to your device, to be able to browse through all its features.
Who is GB Whatsapp for?
Unlike other messaging apps, GB Whatsapp has a few unique features. First, you will notice that it has an interface very similar to the official android interface, including the widgets, the sharing option, and the ability to edit or manage your contacts. The real value of this messaging app, however, lies in the information it provides about the users, especially their privacy options. Its searchable database will give you detailed information about the person who owns a phone number.
How to Use GB Whatsapp
If you're familiar with most messaging apps, you'll find that GB Whatsapp is quite intuitive to use. First, you will see an overview of all the recent activities on your Google page. To get to the details, you will tick or click on the little plus icon on the top-right corner of the screen. Next, you will see a list of different activity categories. You should choose the one with the words "messaging" in it.
From here, it's easy to manage your activity log.
- First, you will be able to modify or delete your activities. You can also set up a sub-profile to have different pictures on each one of them.
- If you choose to change your main profile picture to one of your sub-profile pictures, you can do so at any time by going into the "modify picture" area of the settings.
- You can change your default status by ticking "auto-responder - send a status update" and then tick "set as default."
- When you want to show off your pictures on GB Whatsapp, you can tick the "show picture in chat" button. If you'd like to hide the second tick, simply scroll down to the bottom of the screen. At the very bottom, you will see an "x" symbol. Click on it will hide the second tick.
The "chat privacy options" section allows you to adjust various options such as whether or not you want to share images or comments, whether you want to disable sending private messages, and so on. If you tick the box of "disable public messages," you will be able to see them but your friend will not. Similarly, if you tick the box of "enable public messages," you will enable the feature and all your friends will receive and read your messages.
If you'd like to limit the size of your images, you can do this as well. You can go to the "size options" tab. You will see a slider for selecting the desired image size. You can adjust it as needed until you are happy with the resulting image. This option is off by default, but you can change it to "hide" so that only the portion of the conversation in which you participate will be viewable.
